For morning and evening sessions, the alumni group and the new students group split up into different sessions. This morning’s alumni session was on “Feminism,” presented by Sue Bohlin.

Alumni Ryan Jones, Holly Porter, Tyler Bennett, Bek Davis, Kathryn Jones, Erin Singleton, Britney Bearden, are eager to learn about the good and the bad of feminism.

Heather Frey and Karla Evans don’t care if there are no more chairs; they are excited to hear Sue speak.

Meals are a great time for students to socialize. Good friends Josh Rowley and Britney Bearden stop for a break from lunch to take a picture together.

Best friends Keb Ramey and Bek Davis from Tucson, Arizona are delighted to share Mind Games together this year. . . and they delight everyone else as well.

Lauren Smith laughs at Kenny Pearson who won’t pose for the camera.

Ray Bohlin engages his discussion group on what is wrong with the article, “Master Planned,” an attack on Intelligent Design as legitimate science. Kenny Pearson (wearing blue hat) tells Ray that the author sets up a straw man argument in order to easily knock it down.

Brian Lange argues against the article Don Closson chose by Bishop Spong, “Can You be a Christian Without Being a Theist?” Brian criticizes the unclear language in the article and believes Bishop Spong uses this as a device to intimidate the reader.

Kris Griffith, Nick Peterson, Ray Bohlin, Ryan Jones, and Josh Looney play Axis and Allies on the computer.

Don Closson (center) instructs Matt Mann, Whit Buck, Brian Lange, and Russ Forrest on strategy for playing Axis and Allies.

Josh Rowley is enjoying the homemade gourmet pizza for dinner. Chef Ted made a variety of pizza including blue cheese, bell pepper, roasted tomato slices, pepperoni, and cheese.

Rachel Smoot really likes the pizza she is having.

Sue Bohlin (right) has been traveling around all week in her golf cart. Holly Porter and Emily O’Neil stop by to say hi.

Kory Hamlin leads the last few songs of the night without the band. The quieter atmosphere helped the students engage and focus on worshipping.

Sue leads the new student evening session on “Homosexuality.” Many students have been looking forward to this session to understand how to love and communicate well with those who struggle with same-sex attractionss.
