Ozark Mind Games 2000 Report: Monday

Keith Bostian and Kyle Cochran lead singing Monday morning, which we enjoy each morning and before the first lecture each evening. The music runs from the energetic and fun to the quietly worshipful, and we are grateful for the musical gifts of our Ozark Conference Center friends.
Ray Bohlin gives his "Campus Christianity" lecture, which is full of tools for the Christian student's life-toolbox. You can see on the table behind him a laptop computer, video projector, and TV/VCR. Almost all our lectures are on PowerPoint, and we use video clips in many of them. This helps the students learn the material better, and it's more enjoyable for everybody!
Here are J.T., R.C., Courtney, and Aaron during break time. The lack of focus is symbolic of what will happen throughout the week if the kids don't get enough sleep at night! It's great to see how kids from all over the country develop their new friendships--especially at night--but it can be a challenge trying to teach the sleep-deprived!
Pool basketball. There is free time for several hours every afternoon where you can always find some students enjoying the beautiful, large pool custom-designed with Mind Games' pool games in mind! Others enjoy a nap, or reading, or playing instruments, or playing board games. Every year, a handful of kids go home ready for world domination after playing "Risk" and "Axis and Allies" with the master, Ray Bohlin. Pool volleyball. This is Monday. By Tuesday and for sure by Wednesday, we'll all know which students forgot to bring (or use) sunblock!
